Born in Belém do Pará in 1958, Carlos Alcantarino holds a degree in Civil Engineering from PUC / RJ. A self-taught designer, he lives in Rio de Janeiro, where he set up the Alcantarino Studio in 1996, specialized in the development of furniture and objects, architectural and scenographic projects, and design consulting. He has participated in several exhibitions and received some of the main national and international design awards.
